Our Anti-Spam Policy

"What the heck is spam?"
In the Internet world, spam is the word commonly used to describe unsolicited commercial e-mail, bulk e-mail, mass e-mail, and junk e-mail. It's the electronic equivalent of the junk mail that the mailman delivers to you.
With spam, however, the cost falls on the receiver – not the sender. Which is what makes it so unwelcome and costly. The closest analogy would be auto-dialing junk phone calls to cellular users; it would really upset cell phone owners pay valuable air time for worthless calls.
People who send spam do it mainly through the following three channels: email, news groups, and message boards. Spam sent by email is an electronic mail message that is addressed to someone with whom the sender doesn't have an existing relationship (either personal or business). News groups and message board spam are messages sent or posted which are unrelated to the topic of discussion of the particular news group or message board.
Our Anti-Spam Policy
The FamilyParade.com Anti-Spam Policy is simple: if you spam, you are out - your customer account will be closed, your referrals will be lost, and you will be ineligible for a new account.
We're serious about doing our part to stop spamming. That's why each of our new customers agrees to accept our anti-spam policy as a condition of our General Membership Agreement. Click here to see a list of already canceled accounts due to spamming.
FamilyParade.com isn't alone in this strong stance against spam. In fact, anti-spamming legislation has already taken affect in several states in the U.S. and is under debate in many others. The first state to pass anti-spamming legislation was Washington. Click here http://www.mcnichol.com/spam.htm to read more about Washington State's Engrossed Substitute House Bill 2752. "What if one of my direct or extended referrals turns out to be a spammer?"
FamilyParade.com takes a strong stance against spam and we are doing everything we can to eliminate spam on the Internet. If one of your direct or extended referrals turns out to be a spammer, their account will be cancelled and you will lose the potential benefit of having the spammer as a referral and any potential new referrals they may have brought in the future.
